Hulu is Producing a Far Cry TV Show from the Producers of the Alien Series and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The newest Far Cry game that gamers experienced was Far Cry 6, which starred Giancarlo Esposito in the role of the villain, Antón, and came out during October 6, 2021. In the game universe, it is famous for celebrating action and insanity with the same glee, all while telling gripping, ideologically themed tales. No wonder then that FX's recent announcement for a Far Cry anthology series brought on board two visionaries whose projects have exemplified all of those elements.
About the Series
Adapted from Ubisoft's popular video game property, the limited anthology series will stream on Hulu and be produced by FX Productions. The anthology will also parallel the video games' style by featuring a fresh backdrop and group of personalities in every instalment.
Executive Team
Rob Mac, producer of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Noah Hawley, the mind behind FX's Alien: Earth and Fargo, will work as showrunners on the series via their labels, More Better Productions for Mac, and 26 Keys for Hawley. They will be accompanied by Emilia Serrano for 26 Keys, Nick Frenkel for 3 Arts, Jackie Cohn for More Better Productions, John Campisi, Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, and Austin Dill for Ubisoft Film & Television.

What’s Next
Mac will also feature in the show, but as of now, we are unsure of what role that might entail. Hawley's Alien: Earth was recently greenlit for another season, with FX and Disney signing a new overall deal with the producer.

A release window for when we can expect the new Far Cry show has not yet been revealed. The series will be available on Hulu in the United States and on Disney Plus globally.
