Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
